Mini-Splits
-
How Often Should Mini-Split Systems Be Professionally Cleaned?
Most systems should be professionally cleaned every 1–2 years, depending on usage and indoor conditions. Homes with pets, allergies, or heavy system use may require more frequent cleaning.
-
Does Mini-Split Cleaning Improve Indoor Air Quality?
Cleaning removes dust, debris, and buildup from coils, filters, and blower components. Removing these contaminants can help reduce particles circulating through your home.
-
How Long Does a Cleaning Appointment Take?
Most mini-split cleaning appointments take between one and two hours, depending on the number of indoor units and the system's condition.
-
Can Dirty Mini-Splits Cause Water Leaks?
Yes. Debris and buildup can clog the drain pan or drain line inside the indoor unit. When drainage becomes restricted, condensation may overflow and cause water to drip from the unit.

-
What kind of light bulbs should I purchase?
Fluorescent bulbs are more expensive but save you money in the long run. A single incandescent light bulb can cost the same as 6 to 10 fluorescent bulbs – and the fluorescents last about 10 times longer. -
